Five-way binding posts are preferred by audiophiles for speaker cable termination due to the ability to use just about any type of connector, or even bare wire!
An 19 mm overall diameter allows for close chassis placement, while the two-piece insulation grommet guards against accidental binding post grounding. The top banana plug entry section is removable for the use of ring terminals, while the 5-way design also allows for the use of fork terminals, spade terminals, speaker pins and, of course, bare wire up to 5 AWG.
For insulated chassis mounting, a 9.8 mm hole is required. A 8 mm mounting nut is included. Overall height is 46mm (including the mounting stud).
