The
Metal Film Resistors Fill The Gap in Between Carbon Film and Metal
Oxide resistors . The Resistive element is a high content of AL203
ceramic rod on which a thin Film of Ni/Cr alloy is deposited by
vacuum sputtering system. Then contact caps are pressed on to the ends
of the rod and a helical grove cut through
the film to give the required resistance value. Connecting copper wire
is welded to the end caps. Finally the
resistors are coated with multiple layers of insulation lacquer.
Features:
Formed By spattering Ni-Cr Alloy On to Highly Concentrated Aluminum Oxide Ceramic Rods
Meets Military specification MIL-R-10509F
Very low current noise
Pure Copper leads
Precision 1% Tolerance
Temperature coefficient of 50ppm/ºC
Makes an excellent precise resistor due to its low temperature coefficient
Moisture Proof Blue resin Coating ensures long Term stability

Please
Note that in terms Of Quality these resistors can not be compared to
cheaper 1% tolerance resistors found in the market . The cheaper
variants have Magnetic Leads and do not have resin coatings and plus
they have much higher temperature coefficients
