AMT 65-4

The AMT 65-4 is great for many uses, including 2-way and multi-way systems. You may have also noticed them being used in many commercial home theater systems lately.This ia a very high performance AMT, for the price of a mid-level dome tweeter!.AMT tweeters are made by adding a trace of conductive material to a sheet of paper or other material (for the SoundTouch speakers it is aluminum conductor on a sheet of Kapton®), then folding the sheet like an accordian. Strong neodymium magnets and an electrical current cause the accordion to expand and contract, creating the high frequency sound.
